Key areas of focus include:

  • Developing and implementing financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Managing the preparation and presentation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Overseeing the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.

Qualifications:

  • CPA qualification or a similar certification is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Extensive understanding of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations, with a proven ability to apply them effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel, for financial modeling and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and concise presentations of complex information.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work under pressure.
  • Previous experience in a senior accounting role or a proven progression in responsibilities.
  • Technical competence in accounting software and financial reporting systems.

A proactive self-starter who excels in tackling challenges and making informed decisions.


• Previous experience in the retail industry or a similar field will be a plus.

Additional Requirements:


• Take charge of UK Accounts, ensuring that all financial operations adhere to compliance and accuracy standards.


• Engage regularly with store managers and team members across Sleep.8's London locations.


• Serve as the main point of contact for the CFO, Vice President, and Financial Director of Sleep.8, delivering valuable financial insights and support.
