Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Manager to become a vital part of our team at Kier Group. This role is integral to our commitment to delivering exceptional construction projects with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Location:
The position is based in the West Midlands, with responsibilities that include travel to various project sites within the region.
Employment Type:
Permanent - Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the CSO programme team to ensure the successful execution of construction projects.
- Overseeing compliance with safety protocols, method statements, and risk assessments, while promoting the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Implementing quality control measures and managing the daily maintenance schedule of all operational systems.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Level 6 qualification in Construction Site Management or a related discipline, or a Higher National Certificate/Diploma or degree in Construction Management.
- Proven knowledge and practical experience in managing a construction site effectively.
- A valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card – Supervisor - Gold Experienced Supervisor or Manager.
- Relevant site training certifications, including confined space, fire marshal, first aid, and temporary work supervisor.
