About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at CMC Markets. As a key member of our Business Transformation team, you will play a critical role in delivering end-to-end strategic business projects that drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with the Head of Business Functions, Global Head of Delivery, and Programme Manager to deliver complex business projects that require coordination across multiple business areas.
  • Data Platform & Technology Transformation: Focus on the Data Platform & Technology Transformation Portfolio, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions that drive business value.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage risks and issues, developing suitable mitigation or corrective actions as needed.
  • Project Dependencies: Manage project dependencies to ensure the overall project timeline remains on track, identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks.
  • Scope Management: Identify gaps or overlaps in projects and negotiate scope adjustments with project managers, executives, and sponsors.
  • Business Process Improvement: Identify gaps in business processes and develop correction strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Resource Planning: Develop and manage resource plans to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain excellent oral and written communication skills, interacting with business and IT individuals at all levels, including executives.
  • Professional Development: Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including relevant regulatory and legislative training.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers, clients, or colleagues receive a clear, fair, and consistent high-quality service that presents a professional and positive image of CMC Markets.
  • Confidentiality: Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality in the performance of duties.
