Senior Estimator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Steel Connexions Ltd., a specialist recruitment company dedicated to the structural steelwork industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce accurate and detailed tenders for Structural Steel and Cladding construction projects.
  • Work collaboratively with estimating management, production management, site management, and company directors to ensure profitable work orders.
  • Carry out material take-offs, estimating labour, materials, and equipment costs, including MEWPs and Crane costs.
  • Liaise internally and externally to ensure accurate pricing.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Minimum of 5 years estimating experience in the Structural Steel industry.
  • High level of familiarity with the UK Steel industry.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to work in an office-based environment.
