We are seeking a highly organized and people-focused Retail Store Manager to join our team at Yorkshire Cancer Research. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our shop in Hull, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of retail operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of volunteers and a Deputy Shop Manager to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of retail operations.
- Oversee the management of the shop, including visual merchandising, stock management, and cash handling.
- Ensure accurate accounting and asset handling, and complete shop administration tasks.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet sales targets and improve customer engagement.
- Experience in managing people or volunteers, including recruitment and development.
- Experience in meeting and exceeding targets within a retail environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
