We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Services Manager to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading service provider in a high-profile building in the City of London.
About the Role- Ensure that technical operations within the building are maintained to the highest standards of quality and reliability.
- Manage a team of maintenance professionals on site and coordinate with external contractors to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Maintain the site's Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules to achieve 100% completion at a high quality level.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Update the asset register on a regular basis to ensure accurate records of all equipment and assets.
- Manage all technical issues across the building, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to measure team performance and ensure delivery of high-quality services.
- Oversee the company's Health and Safety (H&S) and environmental performance on site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Plan and execute building shutdowns and basic client project works, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Responsible for managing the company's quality procedures on site, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Recruit and manage a team of skilled engineers and technicians, providing training and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure the technical development of all staff, including annual appraisals and performance reviews.
- Manage client relationships on a daily basis, ensuring excellent communication and customer service.
- Manage all reports, including technical reports, maintenance schedules, and performance metrics.
- Identify and pursue additional business opportunities that will deliver client satisfaction and increase contract sales revenue.
- Responsible for the permit system, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Fully qualified in electrical or mechanical discipline, with a minimum of a C&G, HNC, or HND qualification.
- Strong understanding of building management systems and technical engineering principles.
- Previous experience of managing large engineering teams and coordinating with external contractors.
- Experience of service delivery in high-profile financial offices or critical data centers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and clients.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a demanding and varying workload, with a focus on delivering projects on time and on budget.
