About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Neighbourhood Officer to join our team at the Aster Group. As a key member of our housing team, you will play a vital role in providing an effective and flexible landlord service to our customers, building strong and supportive communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage properties and tenancies, addressing all aspects of estate management and tenancy breaches.
  • Work closely with customers, supporting them with tenancy enquiries and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct neighbourhood inspections, identifying and addressing any repairs or maintenance needs.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address tenancy breaches and improve customer outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of housing practice and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse workload, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
