Fine Art HGV Class 1 Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Red Recruit, specializing in fine art moving. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of fine art goods throughout the UK.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Moving and Handling: Physical lifting, handling, loading, and unloading of fine art goods.
  • Liaising with Office Staff: Collaborate with our office team to ensure smooth transit of objects and efficient logistics.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Perform additional tasks as required by management to ensure the success of our fine art moving operations.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Hold a full HGV Class 2 or Class 1 licence and a valid Drivers CPC.
  • Experience: Ideally, have experience driving a category C+E vehicle and working in the fine art sector or international shipping, packing, installation, or storage.
