Job Title: Graduate Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Laboratory Technician to join our team in Greater Manchester. As a key member of our applications team, you will play a crucial role in the development and testing of our specialty chemicals used in the industrial fluid and lubricants industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in the development of new products and existing product ranges
  • Undertake applications testing of new and existing products
  • Support in Quality Control (QC) of in-process and finished samples, as well as raw materials
  • Presenting test data to other members of the organisation
  • Supporting in technical support for customers
  • Ensuring technical library of documentation is updated and maintained correctly

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemistry (or similar)
  • Proven industrial experience of application testing is advantageous but not essential
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously

What We Offer:

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme and discretionary performance-related bonus
  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (with flexibility)
