We are currently looking for motivated SEN Teaching Assistants to become part of our team on a flexible basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized and small group assistance to students with various special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning challenges.
  • Support classroom educators in executing Individual Education Plans and modifying teaching resources to accommodate the needs of SEN students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere, encouraging independence and self-esteem among SEN students.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external specialists to offer comprehensive support to SEN students.
  • Keep precise records of student progress and behavior, in line with school policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with children with SEN, in either an educational environment or a comparable setting.
  • Knowledge of various special educational needs and effective strategies for assisting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Compassion, patience, and resilience when engaging with children facing educational hurdles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Willingness to adapt and be flexible to meet the evolving needs of SEN students and educational environments.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or readiness to obtain).
