Laboratory Manager

The Role- Develop and implement procedures in line with quality management systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance of a BSL2 and BSL3 grade lab environment, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Procure, validate, and maintain/repair laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Implement and manage the Biobank strategy, including software management and maintenance.
- Ensure the lab facility meets EHS compliance standards.
- Implement remote monitoring capabilities for critical equipment to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime.
- Maintain and update the Biosafety management system, including the Biosafety manual, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide training and support to staff on Biosafety procedures and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with Quality, EHS, and regulations teams to support external audits and certification activities.
- 5+ years of experience managing a Biosafety facility or clean room environment.
- Bachelor's degree in science or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of scientific principles, laboratory equipment, and research techniques in a life science laboratory.
- Experience assessing lab processes and creating lab policies and procedures.
- Biobank management experience is a plus.
