Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Mobile Application Engineer with a strong background in developing and integrating mobile solutions specifically for Android platforms.

The successful candidate will have expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and XML, along with a solid grasp of mobile architectural patterns such as MVVM.

This position involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, including Product Managers, Technical Architects, and design teams, to create high-quality, tailored mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and improve Android mobile applications utilizing Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and XML.

• Implement mobile architectural patterns, particularly MVVM, to ensure code scalability and maintainability.

• Engage in Agile Scrum practices, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Leverage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and delivery.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Architects, and other stakeholders to define and develop integrated solutions.

• Connect with various custom data sources and third-party systems as necessary.

• Work alongside the design team to enhance and refine user experience components.

• Ensure that solutions comply with technical strategies, constraints, and consider overall ownership costs.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Advanced proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

• Strong skills in XML and mobile architectural patterns (MVVM).

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient in Android Studio and version control systems like Git.

• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Strong communication abilities to effectively engage with stakeholders and team members.

• Experience in integrating custom data sources and third-party systems.

• Knowledge of UX design principles and the capacity to work with design teams.

• A proactive mindset towards continuous improvement and staying informed about the latest industry developments.
