The Education Programmes Manager will play a key role in developing and managing outreach education programmes for Bedford Blues Foundation. This will involve strategic planning, programme design, and team management to ensure the delivery of high-quality education services that meet the needs of schools and the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement education programmes that align with the Foundation's aims and objectives.
- Lead a team of education staff to deliver programmes and provide line management support.
- Design and deliver programme content that meets the needs of partner schools and the local community.
- Manage contracts and relationships with schools and partner organisations.
- Develop and manage budgets to deliver education programmes.
- Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness and report to stakeholders.
- Represent the Foundation at events and promote the organisation's brand and reputation.
Requirements:
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong understanding of the education sector and alternative provisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in programme management and team leadership.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office and organisational skills.
- Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check required.
Working Environment:
- Full-time role with some flexibility for home working.
- Responsibility to visit and travel to project sites.
