Position: Contract TypeScript Engineer (NextJs, React)

Overview: Our client, a leading global retailer with a rich history dating back to the 1950s, is on the verge of launching a revolutionary ecommerce platform. With a workforce exceeding 1 million across numerous retail locations worldwide, they are recognized as one of the most esteemed companies in the industry.

Role Summary: We are looking for two skilled TypeScript Engineers to enhance our client's esteemed web development team. Ideal candidates will possess a robust background in NextJs, React, and JavaScript, along with comprehensive knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using TypeScript, NextJs, and React.
  • Implement best practices in coding and design patterns.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Review code and promote clean coding principles.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in TypeScript, NextJs, React, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with React Hooks, REST, GraphQL, SCSS, CSS, TDD, Unit Testing, Docker, GIT, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months, with a high likelihood of extension.
  • Location: Hybrid working model.
  • Rate: Competitive daily rate.
