About the Role
Kent County Council is seeking a highly experienced Senior Practitioner to join their Children in Care Service. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to colleagues, while also managing a complex caseload of children in care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to colleagues on complex cases
- Manage a caseload of children in care, ensuring their needs are met and their outcomes are improved
- Contribute to the development of new initiatives and policies within the service
- Act as a role model and mentor to less experienced colleagues
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in social work, with a degree in social work (CQSW, DipSW or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and families. You will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (or willingness to obtain)
