We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support students with special educational needs in our school. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students unlock their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, including those with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and other challenges
  • Assist classroom teachers in implementing personalized learning plans and accommodations to meet the diverse needs of SEN students
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported
  • Support students during transitions between activities, classes, and locations within the school environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/carers
Requirements
  • 1st or 2:1 degree from a top UK university
  • Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs
  • A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of students with diverse needs
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience in working with students who may face challenges in their learning journey
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the individual needs and preferences of students
