PCB Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled PCB Design Engineer to join our team at Mansell Recruitment Group Plc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality printed circuit boards (PCBs) for our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop PCB layouts for high voltage power supplies and control electronics.
  • Enter schematics from design engineering sketches and create 3D models and assemblies.
  • Generate and maintain part information and bills of materials.
  • Maintain the PCB library and DCC drawing system.
  • Produce system schematics, wiring diagrams, and schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to our company's ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental, and Health and Safety management systems.
  • Contribute to specifying process consumables and implement effective configuration and data management processes.
  • Offer support to production staff as needed and identify and eliminate waste in all engineering processes.

Requirements:

  • HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven expertise and experience in PCB design (preferably to IPC Standard) and mechanical design.
  • Proficiency in CAD packages for PCB and mechanical design.
  • Computer literate and knowledge of MS Office.
