Job Summary

Lloyds British, a leading provider of lifting and equipment inspection services in the UK, is seeking a skilled Crane Engineer to join our team. As a Crane Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting routine service inspections to overhead cranes and hoists, ensuring they are safe to use and meet legal obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine service inspections to overhead cranes and hoists
  • Consult with customers to ensure next steps are recorded and prevention of breakdowns is prioritized
  • Anticipate and resolve problems before they occur
  • Carry out frontline maintenance, attending to breakdowns, fault finding, retrofits, modernizations, and upgrades to customers' cranes and hoists

Requirements

  • NVQ3, HNC, HND, or C&G electrical engineering qualification
  • Relevant industry experience working with cranes and hoists
  • Full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points

  • Proven technical knowledge of lifting equipment and lifting machines
