About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Professional to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our environmental health and safety strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement environmental health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
  • Investigate and report on incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that environmental health and safety considerations are integrated into all aspects of our business.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to stay informed about emerging trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum of NVQ level 4 qualification in Health and Safety.
  • Membership of IOSH (Chartered or working towards).
  • HACCP / Food Safety.
  • Proven experience in environmental health and safety management, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to environmental health and safety challenges.
