Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the world's largest car manufacturing site in Swindon. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day electrical maintenance, planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and general building services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical maintenance tasks, including planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repair of electrical systems.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, including emergency lighting and fire alarms.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of building services.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including fault finding and repair.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid electrical qualifications and certifications.
