The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Dreams, a leading distributor of home furnishings. As a Senior Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution team.

Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating the workload of warehouse operatives, providing on-the-job training and support, and ensuring accurate receipt of goods from internal and external suppliers.

You will also be responsible for supervising a team of warehouse operatives, including heavy lifting and loading of products, and checking deliveries onto systems.

Additionally, you will work to achieve daily targets, organize and prioritize the workload, and assist with the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the workload of warehouse operatives to achieve required results
  • Provide on-the-job training and support to new starters
  • Ensure accurate receipt of goods from internal and external suppliers
  • Supervise a team of warehouse operatives in the safe offloading and loading of vehicles
  • Check deliveries onto systems and complete delivery paperwork
  • Work to achieve daily targets
  • Organize and prioritize the workload
  • Assist with the smooth operation of the warehouse
