Job Description

Job Title: Principal Electronics Engineer - Technical Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Electronics Engineer to lead our team of engineers in the design and development of electro-mechanical systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering and experience in leading technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of electro-mechanical systems, ensuring that they meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers, guiding and mentoring them to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that technical solutions meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Ensure that all technical work is carried out in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

Requirements:

  • Degree/HND in Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 7 years' experience in digital or analogue electronics design within a structured development environment.
  • Experience of leading technical teams and providing technical guidance and support.
  • Strong understanding of electronics engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
