About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented and innovative team of professionals who are committed to delivering clinically excellent services for the population of Wrexham and Flintshire. As a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing specialist mental health services to children and adolescents, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist mental health services to children and adolescents, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Participate in the regional CAMHS out-of-hours on-call rota, providing telephone advice to Paediatrics, Adult Mental Health, and our Adolescent Unit.
- Teach and supervise trainee or specialty doctors and the wider multi-disciplinary team.
You will be part of a close-knit team of experienced Consultant Psychiatrists and a skilled multi-disciplinary CAMHS Team in each area. We have excellent working relationships with Acute Paediatric Services and Adult Mental Health Services, and we are committed to delivering high-quality services to our patients.
