Role Summary:

Ovyo is on the lookout for a Senior Java Engineer with extensive experience in Microservices and React JS. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Spring Boot Webflux, contributing significantly to various internal and external initiatives.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record in Microservice architecture alongside proficiency in Java and Java EE development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Java-based solutions
  • Design, plan, debug, and code software solutions for Spring Boot Webflux microservices
  • Conduct troubleshooting and software testing
  • Collaborate with fellow software engineers and product managers to ensure alignment with user requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in Java development
  • At least 3 years of experience in Microservice development
  • In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot Webflux
  • Familiarity with Java EE, functional programming, reactor APIs, and non-blocking programming
  • Understanding of Redis databases
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2
  • Knowledge of hardware and operating systems, preferably Unix-based
