About the Role

We are seeking a talented Semi Senior Accountant to join our team in Alfreton. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for supporting a varied client portfolio, preparing statutory and financial statements, and assisting with VAT returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with an experienced team to deliver high-quality client work.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with tax returns and assessments for a range of organisational structures.
  • Manage your own workflow, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients, attending meetings and resolving queries.
  • Promote excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients.
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities to enhance your skills.

Requirements
  • ACCA or ACA studying or plans to study in the future. Study support can be provided for the right candidate.
  • Previous experience supporting clients within practice.
