Position Overview
The role involves the planning, preparation, and serving of meals within a care facility, working closely with fellow team members to ensure high standards of food service.
As a temporary kitchen assistant, you will be expected to competently step in for the head cook when necessary, ensuring continuity in meal preparation.
Work Schedule
This position requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering quality service, focusing on continuous improvement for the benefit of both the service and the organization.
Regulatory Compliance
This position is subject to regulations concerning work with children and/or vulnerable adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have lived outside the UK for a continuous period of three months or more in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be necessary. You will be responsible for providing this check. A confirmed offer of employment and the start date will depend on the satisfactory outcome of these pre-employment checks.
