We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Zoo Supervisor at Chessington World of Adventures. This is a full-time and permanent position that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of zoo operations and animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the carnivore and primate areas, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of zoo operations.
  • Supervise a team of direct reports, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of animal care and welfare.
  • Develop and implement health and safety procedures and protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Zoo Manager and Assistant Zoo Manager to achieve business objectives and support the broader resort operation.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a zoo or related environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols, including zoo legislation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of focus and control.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with a background in working with Category 1 species in a zoo-based environment.
