About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Paralegal to join our Serious Injury Law team. As a key member of our team, you will assist with all aspects of our cases, ensuring timely and efficient progression while maintaining excellent client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist fee-earning teams with case management, ensuring matters are progressed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Liaise with clients, experts, barristers, and other relevant parties as directed.
  • Deal with pre and post-issue procedures, drafting witness statements and other documents as required.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed file notes, maintaining case plans and summaries.
  • Research points of law, gathering evidence, and chasing parties as necessary.
  • Attend client meetings, Court, and conferences as required, taking notes and ensuring excellent client care.
Requirements
  • Good researching and drafting skills.
  • Sound base knowledge of serious injury law and court procedure.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with file management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a diverse environment, analyzing complex information to make reasoned decisions.
  • IT competent.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours and ability to travel.
