About the Role

AWE is seeking a highly skilled Senior Utilities Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Utilities Engineering Team, you will be responsible for delivering professional engineering services to support the delivery of utility services to our facilities, assets, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering intelligence to support the Utilities Engineering Team.
  • Deliver engineering tasks for utilities networks, including design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure the availability of utilities plant, equipment, and infrastructure within relevant networks.
  • Identify and escalate business risk associated with the condition and performance of network plant equipment and infrastructure.
Requirements
  • HNC/HND with suitable additional experience, or (desirable), degree with additional experience. Preferably IEng or CEng.
  • Prior operational and engineering experience in an industrial or utilities environment, in civils/structural areas of water and wastewater, treatment, distribution, and building services.
  • An ability to provide engineering capability across relevant networks, comprising a range of infrastructure facilities and associated plant and equipment.
