Electrical Calibration Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Calibration Specialist to join our team in Coventry. As a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for the calibration of electrical and mechanical gauges within a UKAS-accredited laboratory.

About the Role:

As an Electrical Calibration Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring calibration activities adhere to BS EN ISO 17025:2017 standards. You will also be required to carry out on-site calibrations at customer premises approximately 25% of the time.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration activities on electrical and mechanical gauges
  • Maintain accurate measurement results and generate calibration certificates
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers
  • Review and approve calibration certificates and reports
  • Liaise with senior management to optimize laboratory efficiency

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess a qualification in electrical calibration, electrical systems, or electronics. However, candidates with strong practical experience in electrical calibration, electronics, or electrical repair will also be considered.

A keen eye for detail, a methodical approach to work, and excellent problem-solving skills are essential. You should also be a confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
