About the Role:
As the Assistant Bodyshop Manager, you will work closely with the Bodyshop Manager to ensure the workshop is running effectively. Key responsibilities include:
- Team Management: Assist in managing the team and oversee day-to-day operations of the bodyshop.
- Job Allocation: Set up job cards, assign tasks to productive staff, and ensure workflow is maximised.
- Quality Control: Oversee health and safety practices and carry out regular quality checks.
- Customer and Insurer Liaison: Communicate with customers, insurers, and work providers to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, update job cards, and ensure clear communication across all departments.
About You:
We are looking for someone with a background in supervisory roles within an accident repair bodyshop and strong interpersonal skills. You should have:
- Leadership Skills: Experience in managing teams and ensuring high levels of customer care.
- Organisational Abilities: Proven ability to plan workloads, meet deadlines, and work to service level agreements (SLAs).
