Job Title: Platform Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:
At Squarepoint Capital, we're seeking a skilled Platform Infrastructure Specialist to join our Application Engineering team. As a key member of our Middleware stream, you'll play a critical role in delivering mission-critical platform infrastructure using the DevOps methodology.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, monitor, and scale platform infrastructure to meet the needs of our users.
• Automate everyday tasks with scripting and configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with junior team members to provide mentorship and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Work towards increasing platform stability of critical infrastructure applications.
• Shape the architecture and user experience to offer the most out of our platform.

Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
• Deep knowledge of at least two of the following technologies: Kafka, Consul, Load-balancing.
• Proficient in infrastructure automation and configuration management using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

Nice to Have:
• Experience with security products such as Keycloak, CyberArk.
• Familiarity with modern software development tooling, including GitLab, Kubernetes, Hashicorp Products.
• Experience in software development (Python, Git).
• System administration expertise (Bash, Linux, Containerization).
• Experience with Observability systems such as Elasticsearch, Prometheus.
