About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance Specialist to join our team at MAG. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable service to passengers, tenants, and other customers through effective and efficient maintenance and repair of airport assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake planned or reactive maintenance work on airport assets, including electrical and electronic systems.
  • Carry out tasks requiring technical competence in Electrical/Electronic and/or Systems engineering.
  • Use prevailing IT and work management systems to manage maintenance activities.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
  • Engage proactively in performance improvements and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Proactively upgrade skills to facilitate the maintenance and operation of new assets.

Requirements

  • NVQ3 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant experience in Complex system fault-finding, maintenance, and repair of Electrical/Electronic control systems and equipment.
  • Full and assessed knowledge of any relevant National or MAG regulations and standards.
  • Completion of relevant & related skills training to become a Competent Airport technician.
  • Meets the requirements of the competence assessment process (Blue Book).
  • Detailed working familiarity with all aspects of MAXIMO which support work scheduling, resource scheduling, resource competencies etc.
  • Able to demonstrate that through formal training/apprenticeship or practical experience that they can effectively carry out the task required of the role in the airport.
