FP&A Project Accountant Role

Reed Finance is seeking a highly skilled FP&A Project Accountant to play a pivotal role in supporting the financial aspects and strategic decision-making of projects for our globally recognised client.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and experience with financial modelling and scenario analysis. This role will initially be on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract, however, is highly likely to be made permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the financial health of projects by monitoring budgets, tracking expenses, and forecasting future costs.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with organisational goals.

  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, conduct variance analysis, and provide insights for performance improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience in project accounting and financial modelling.
  • A robust understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Capable of communicating complex financial information in a clear manner.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial issues.
  • An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is preferred.
