Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/Therapist

We are seeking an experienced psychologist or psychological therapist to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with our colleagues and community sector provider, Change Grow Live (CGL), to develop and enhance the provision of psychosocial interventions within the community for individuals with difficulties associated with substance misuse.
The role is a permanent opportunity, with the possibility of contract renewal subject to positive evaluation. If the contract is not renewed with the community provider, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to utilize their skills and expertise within our mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement psychosocial interventions for individuals with substance misuse difficulties
- Collaborate with CWPT colleagues and CGL to enhance service provision
- Contribute to the development of new service innovations
- Work with individuals to address substance misuse difficulties and promote positive change
Requirements:
- Experience as a psychologist or psychological therapist
- Strong understanding of psychosocial interventions and substance misuse
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and community providers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
