Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Automation and Orchestration: Develop, maintain, and optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable rapid and consistent software delivery.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development teams to ensure that software can be built, deployed, and run in a reliable and scalable manner.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure infrastructure and applications are secure by implementing best practices and regular security assessments.
  • Incident Management: Respond to and resolve production issues, including on-call support as needed.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
    • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.).
    • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
    • Understanding of networking, security, and performance optimization.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
  • Experience: Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Security: Knowledge of security best practices and tools (e.g., SAST, DAST).
