About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for the receipt and delivery of goods to various wards and departments at Watford General Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an efficient receipt and delivery service with the aim of delivering all goods on the day of receipt.
  • Accurately record receipt data on delivery schedules.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with colleagues, ward and departmental staff, and managers.

Person Specification

Education and Qualifications:

  • General standard of education.
  • Desirable: Maths and English GCSE.

Knowledge:

  • Basic IT skills.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle/Integra or willingness to learn.

Experience:

  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment.
  • Desirable: Experience of working within the NHS and an understanding of current issues.
