About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Assessor to join our team at Everpool Recruitment. As a Clinical Assessor, you will play a vital role in conducting disability assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage and Empower Claimants: Connect with individuals applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP), a benefit designed to support those living with long-term health conditions or disabilities. Your focus will be on assessing the impact of health conditions on daily living and mobility, ensuring that you provide a high level of support and guidance to claimants.
  2. Navigate Complex Health Conditions: Assess and navigate a wide range of complex health conditions with confidence and expertise, utilizing your clinical knowledge to make informed decisions.
  3. Produce High-Quality Reports: Leverage cutting-edge IT systems to produce detailed, high-quality reports that reflect your clinical expertise.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience in a relevant healthcare role.
  2. Registration: Must have at least 1 year of active registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. NMC or HCPC).
  3. Skills: Strong communication, proficient typing, and excellent IT skills are essential for this role.
