About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing and taking ownership of the sourcing function for our Silent Aire site.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing and Cost Management of all Materials to Silent Aire site.
- Identify, lead and deliver cost reduction programs through cross-functional teams.
- Life cycle management of suppliers.
- Identifying new suppliers, contracting and implementation.
- Drive NPI at suppliers in your category.
- Negotiating new / existing pricing agreements.
- Localize global agreements and implement.
- Cost control responsible for categories mechanical and engineering.
- Identify and lead / participate in continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related area, and solid technical experience within your categories. Alternatively, you could be an Engineer with suitable experience/education within Procurement. You also possess excellent knowledge of purchasing practices and applicable laws and regulations.
