About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our Mechanical Services team at Veolia ES (UK) LIMITED. As a Welder, you will be responsible for completing welding operations to a radiographic standard, adhering to welding protocols, quality controls, and site safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform welding operations on various materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and Inconel, to ISO EN9606-1 & 7 and ASME IX standards.
  • Identify and report potential welding problems or issues accordingly.
  • Work within a multi-skilled Mechanical Services team to complete various tasks and projects.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience within the power industry, preferably in boiler breakdown/repair response.
  • Mirror welding capability.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in a relevant trade.
  • CCNSG Safety Passport.
