The Site Operative is a multi-skilled position covering all aspects of production across the flour mill. This role is based on a shift system of four on/four off, with two days and two nights. The position reports to the Site Operative Team leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within the Company Safety and Health guidelines, adhering to the critical life standards policy.
  • Ensure all food safety compliance requirements are maintained within the plant.
  • Work to production targets to ensure performance excellence across site.
  • Conduct laboratory testing of wheat and flour to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Accurately complete all documentation as required.
  • Support other Site functions, such as Weighbridge, Warehouse, and Hygiene, when needed.

Requirements

  • An effective team member.
  • Effective oral and written communication within operations.
  • Problem-solving abilities to analyze situations objectively and reach logical solutions.
  • Food process experience is ideal but not essential, with training provided.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Current FLT training certificate is ideal but not essential, with training provided.
  • Advance NABIM qualification is an ideal but not essential, with full training and development provided.
