We are seeking a skilled Site Operations Technician to join our team at Ethero. As a Site Operations Technician, you will be responsible for conducting routine checks of plant water, performing general maintenance and DIY tasks, and maintaining site trailers to ensure they are road worthy.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine checks of plant water on an hourly/daily/weekly basis
- Conduct routine checks on the operation of the cooling towers, including sampling, replenishment of chemicals, and using the correct escalation procedures in the event of a failure
- Perform general maintenance and DIY tasks as needed around the facility
- Maintain site trailers to ensure they are road worthy
- Complete Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)
- Complete all necessary administration accurately and on time
- Work on own, at height, and use manual handling equipment to conduct sampling
- Drive tractor and trailer around the site as needed
- Possess site maintenance and DIY skills
- Be able to operate a tractor and trailer unit with confidence
- Have excellent verbal and written skills
- Be a good communicator
- Be able to observe and record accurately
- Possess problem-solving skills
- Ideally have worked in a similar environment and be aware of legionella
