This well-regarded rural comprehensive school is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and committed Science Educator to become a vital part of their innovative team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science instruction that inspires students and supports their academic and personal growth.
  • Design, prepare, and implement engaging Science lessons tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
  • Employ a range of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to enrich the educational experience and encourage active student participation.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel motivated and supported in achieving their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow educators to create interdisciplinary projects that connect Science with other subjects and real-world scenarios.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's academic progress and areas for improvement.
  • Engage in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and extracurricular activities to enhance the overall school community.


Qualifications:

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Science at the secondary level, with a solid understanding of relevant curriculum standards.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to fostering student success and holistic development.
  • Ability to adapt instructional methods to accommodate diverse student needs and create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Competence in integrating technology into teaching practices to improve learning outcomes.
  • A flexible, resilient approach with a positive attitude towards challenges and professional development.


All appointments will be contingent upon the successful completion of a DBS Enhanced Disclosure and associated checks, along with satisfactory references.
