Position Overview

As an HGV Driver with our organization, your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing full load or low multi-drop deliveries of products and collecting waste across the country, ensuring all loads are palletized boxes or containers, which will be loaded/unloaded by Forklift Truck on-site.
  • Supervising the safe unloading of vehicles at customer locations.
  • Operating either Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles.
  • Verifying load security and weight distribution in accordance with the latest safety practices at the start and end of each shift.

Key Information:

  • Start Times: Drivers can begin their shifts between 04:00 and 08:00, as per their convenience to complete the loads.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a standard 40-hour work week.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Class 1 or Class 2 UK driving license for at least 12 months.
  • Must have recent experience driving a Class 1 or Class 2 vehicle within the last six months, preferably 12 months.
  • Must hold a valid ADR certification covering all categories.
  • Must have no more than 6 points on your license for minor infractions.
  • Must possess a current Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Must have an up-to-date CPC Qualification Card.
