Job Overview

The Workshop is seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Shoreham-by-Sea. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality truck conversions in accordance with design requirements and engineering instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake electrical and mechanical modifications of electric and diesel-powered equipment to meet customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with our design and engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Work closely with our production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 8.15am to 5pm (30 minutes for lunch) and Friday 8.15am to 12.45pm.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical and mechanical fitting and fabrication.
  • Strong understanding of design requirements and engineering instructions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
