Job Title: Chief Financial Officer - Financial Services

Hays PLC is seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team in Swindon. As a key member of the Executive team, you will be responsible for leading the finance function and driving business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the finance team and develop a high-performing finance function.
  2. Take a lead role in all financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  3. Partner with the wider Executive team to support strategic business planning and growth.
  4. Integrate the financial management and reporting of all acquisitions.
  5. Review and implement improvements to existing finance systems and processes.
  6. Ensure the production of high-quality management accounts and financial information for the Group.
  7. Oversee audit and lead external auditor engagement.
  8. Contribute to strategic business planning and acquisition activities.
  9. Review and develop existing finance systems, controls, and processes within the Group.
  10. Provide commercial support for negotiations and discussions with clients, venues, and partners.
Requirements:
  1. Significant experience in finance leadership positions, ideally within an SME reporting to a MD/CEO.
  2. Experience supporting post-acquisition integration of business systems, processes, and reporting.
  3. Successful finance team leadership.
  4. Experience preparing statutory accounts for a Group.
  5. Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
What We Offer:
  1. Competitive base salary circa. £95,000.
  2. Discretionary annual bonus.

Please note that this role is fully office based, and some flexibility may be required to work outside of office hours.
