We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Stockport. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing team and company quality, driving manufacturing maintenance performance, and improving asset and equipment availability.
Main Responsibilities- Support Manufacturing Operations: Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure equipment availability and performance meet required standards.
- CNC Equipment Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of CNC equipment and tooling, with proficiency in fault diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Adhere to the Agility Maintenance schedule for planned, reactive, and scheduled maintenance, ensuring optimal equipment OEE.
- Failure Analysis: Analyze failure modes to develop preventive maintenance regimes, minimizing downtime and improving overall equipment effectiveness.
- Reporting and Data Integrity: Record accurate feedback on completed tasks, including spare parts used, time taken, and any changes required.
- Asset Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct thorough asset inspections and maintenance, detailing identified defects and providing robust reports.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility to support manufacturing production requirements, delivering the weekly schedule while maximizing production uptime.
Qualifications and Education: Relevant engineering qualifications, minimum HNC/HND.
Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a factory/fabrication maintenance environment, CNC machine maintenance experience, and in-depth knowledge of PLC, Inverters, and Drives.
