About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiopharmacy Technical Officer to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Radiopharmacy team, you will be responsible for the aseptic preparation of radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Preparing radiopharmaceuticals in aseptic conditions
  • Performing quality control tests on radiopharmaceuticals
  • Assisting with the maintenance of aseptic production facilities and clinical areas
  • Organizing consumable items and supplies
  • Working safely with radioactive materials

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A vocational qualification in a relevant field, such as science or pharmacy
  • Experience of working in a technical or laboratory service, preferably in a GMP or GLP environment
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work in aseptic conditions
