About the Role
Muc-Off, a leading global company in the bicycle and motorcycle markets, is seeking a highly skilled Social Media Manager to join our team at our Head Office in Poole, Dorset.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a rapidly growing, innovative British business that is expanding its brand presence across core bicycle and motorbike markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective social media campaigns to drive growth in reach and engagement with the brand.
- Manage all Muc-Off social media channels, including researching and analyzing social media trends.
- Deliver the brand tone of voice across all owned channels and create clear, concise design and creative briefs.
- Contribute to the overall marketing strategy to help drive website traffic and increase conversions.
- Monitor competitor social activity and regularly report on key insights.
- Keep up to date with social media viral trends, technological/algorithmic updates, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Actively monitor and respond to comments and messages across all channels.
- Provide monthly KPI reports for key stakeholders across the organization.
- Activate global events through social channels, with occasional event attendance required to capture contact and run takeovers.
- Provide long-term planning and scheduling aligned to the bicycle marketing plan.
- Liaise with external agencies, brand partners, and distributors/retailers on social activation topics.
Requirements
- Proven experience of developing and implementing effective social campaigns.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the bicycle and powersports industries on a global basis.
- Demonstrable strong understanding of emerging social media trends.
- A positive 'glass half full' outlook.
- Highly organized and structured approach.
- Team orientation.
- Proven ability to work independently in a high-pressure, fast-growth environment.
- Excellent IT skills, including social planning and evaluation tools.
- Willingness to be the voice of social media 7-days-a-week.
Desirable
- A degree in Marketing/Communications and/or a CIM Diploma.
- Excellence in project management and an eye for putting the right process in place to get the job done.
- Evidence of working in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
- Experience of budget management.
- Full motorcycle license.
