Job Description:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior / Principal Structural Engineer to join our team at DMR Personnel Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing teams, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture relationships across diverse sectors, planning for future projects.
- Coordination of design outputs across all technical disciplines.
- Delivery of the design stage outputs within the agreed timescale and budget.
- Ensuring that an adequate Technical, Safety review is carried out for each project.
- Oversight of production of design documents which are cost effective, meet the requirements of the specification.
- Ensuring that company/Client standard designs and design practices are utilised wherever possible.
- Recording, monitoring and controlling design changes in order to maximise cost efficiency.
- Raising and resolving technical queries.
- Establishing working relationships with Client and supply chain representatives to promote buildability and supply chain efficiency in design outputs.
- Contributing to ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
- Maintaining a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
- Taking all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.
- Act as a technical authority for Infrastructure Design across all project offices.
Requirements:
- Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer CEng MICE/ MIStructE.
- Proven experience leading and managing teams.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- SC clearance (or eligibility).
- Full Clean Current UK Driving Licence.
- Any experience with some of the following programs: AutoCAD, Tekla or similar.
